I love to paint scenes from around my hometown which touch people’s hearts. I have painted St. Charles Borromeo a few times at the request of local residents and had prints made because of its popularity. St. Rose Tavern was “the place to eat” because they made the best roast beef po-boys in Louisiana. I thought it was time to capture this unique old building before it is demolished.
Des Allemand’s Cajun Dancers has become popular. There are prints available (11″x 14″). This painting won 2nd place in a juried art show, which showcased over 100 paintings from the St. Charles Art Guild members. The paintings were at the Crescent City Brewhouse in the French Quarter.
